    Emma’s Light Alcohol January Selection

    Wine Type: Mixed Case

    £70.00 Per Item

During January most are trying to cut down on alcohol. I have chosen this selection of lower alcohol wines but never lower quality. Hope you enjoy the variety as much as I do.

Ogereau was one of the first vineyards Terri and I visited with Dyl. Emmanuel & family are lovely and so are the wines. This rosé is demi-sec so has a touch of sweetness but is perfectly balanced with good acidity. Don’t reach for the chocs – make this your Saturday sip instead.

Ull de Llebre means hare’s eye, as they are small and dark just like the tempranillo grape. A beautiful red from Catalunya.

I am particularly fond of all Montgomery wines and as if you haven’t heard already, I have helped several times to pick the grapes! This is a delicious fruity red with good acidity and low tannins.

Douce Folie is from another small family vineyard in the Loire we visited, it’s situated closer to the coast. This is a delicious sweet wine that I love.

I hope you enjoy – pop onto the website and write a review for any of the wines if you fancy, I’ll be interested to hear what you think. Mwynhewch!

Villanelle Cotes de Gascogne – A light and fresh white, with notes of white flowers, citrus and guava. A refreshing white at only 11.5%

Perlage, Terre di Chieti Bianco IGT – A light dry, easy drinking white with a touch of tropical fruit – 12% ABV.

Montgomery Rondo – Soft red fruits and violet, good acidity and soft tannins. Would appeal to lovers of Beaujolais – 11% ABV.

Vila Corona, Llabustes Ull de Lebre -Cherry and raspberry compliment the toasty notes with well structured tannin. 12.5% ABV.

Domaine, Ogereau, Cabernet d’Anjou AC -An enticing strawberry leaf nose is followed by great fruit on the palate with a fullness balanced by well-judged acidity – 11% ABV.

Foliette, Douce Folie, Vin de France – Aromas of pears and white flowers, the little sweetness. 10% ABV.
