Pennies VS Pounds – Sparkling Wine Selection

    Wine Type: Mixed Case

    £125.00 Per Item

Do you ever wonder if it’s worth paying that bit extra for the bottle? Is there really a difference? Well you can be the judge.. A mixed case of 6 sparkling wines, compare the different price brackets and different methods – is it worth paying for Champagne or do you prefer Prosecco?

Louis de Grenelle Corial –  A bouquet of red berry fruits, on the palate you get a burst of strawberries and raspberries, a soft mousse and just a touch of residual sweetness

Ancre Hill Estate, Sparkling Rose  – Lightly toasted brioche and beeswax on the nose followed by delicate berries and citrus on the palate.

Bortolin Prosecco Valdobbiadene –  Beautiful floral/fruit aromas, a fresh dry palate but with a touch of residual sweetness.

Piper Heidsieck Cuvee Champagne –  flavours of fresh pear and apple with a delicate hint of citrus. It is lively and light with added depth from the Pinot Noir, creating beautiful balance.

Salasar, Cremant de Limoux, Extra Dry –  From purportedly the oldest sparkling wine region in France, a charming soft, easy drinking fizz.

Jean-Claude Raspail, Cremant de Die –  Fine bubbles and a fresh nose with a touch of honeysuckle, hints of citrus, wax, candied fruits and spices on the palate with a long dry finish.
