    After ageing in fine grain french oak for 9 months, this wine has a fabulous smoky and chocolate aroma. Hints of white pepper and sweet deep dark fruit flavours with velvety tannins.

    About 100km southwest of Barcelona is the lesser-known wine region: Costers del Segre, in the province of Lleida. Winemaker and owner Tomàs Cusiné is the driving force behind various wine estates: Castell del Remi and its ‘Tomàs Cusiné’ wines. Both domains are located in the rocky Costers del Segre. In the picturesque Catalan village of El Vilosell lies the tomàs cusiné domain with around about 29 ha of vineyards. Tomàs is an incredibly talented winemaker who dares to experiment. His philosophy is to create elegant terroir-oriented character wines that are especially tasty for a wide audience. And with success! The wines of Tomàs Cusiné are real gastronomic toppers!
