We loved this wine with tapas recently. Intense, fresh and quite aromatic with notes of stone fruit, peaches, pear, grapefruit and a mineral touch. Round and interesting with a citrus finish.

Santiago Ruiz was universally recognized as the Father of Albariño.
In his family wine was already made since the late nineteenth century and he continued with the tradition. It wasn’t until he retired that he devoted himself entirely to his passion for wine. Elaborator and disseminator, Santiago Ruiz is respected both for his career and for his commitment to the land.
Near the banks of the Miño River and on sunny slopes, the 38 hectares of vineyards are extended, divided into 19 plots, which are analyzed separately. The old native vines ripen at their own pace to give rise to wines of great richness on the palate and intense aromas.
