Clay vessels allows for natural fermentation, subtle oxygenation, and the development of rich textures with earthy nuances.

The wine is deep purple in colour, with a powerful bouquet of blackberries, wild herbs, floral notes, and black pepper.

On the palate, it offers a creamy yet juicy texture, ripe tannins and vibrant acidity. The finish is long, layered, and distinctly Georgian.

Twin brothers Gia and Gela Gamtkitsulashvili started the commercial production of the family Qvevri wine in 1997. The method of making Qvevri wine is an ancient Georgian tradition, which was recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO, 2013) as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

Today, Twins Wine House produces about 250,000 litres of wine annually, half of which is supplied to the Georgian market, and the rest is exported. The main niche of the company is wine bottled in the traditional Georgian method.

There are 135 qvevris in their winery. The smallest of these is 50 litres, and the largest reaches 5 tons. Twins Winery comprises 15 hectares of vineyard land, including 3 hectares of bio/organic vineyards. To make wine, the twins buy grapes from local growers, whose quality they personally check to get the best flavours.
