Vincent Ogereau is one of the outstanding producers from this dynamic region of the Loire Valley, with a domaine of some 25 hectares. Originally established by his grand-father in the 1890s Vincent took over from his father in 1989 and has now been joined by his son Emmanuel. . For white wines Chenin Blanc is king here, matching perfectly with the clay-schist soils of the region, with Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon being used for the reds and rosé.
Description
The nose is a fruit bomb with intense citrus notes and golden apple. The palate is soft with zesty flavours. The thirst-quenching finish with a slight sparkle gives a great sensation of freshness
