Lui­s Pato is one of Bairrada’s oldest and most famous winemakers and this old vine red is a great example of his signature style. Aged in large oak barrels gives a red with perfumed, elegant red fruit, spice and firm tannins. Fans of Nebbiolo should not miss this.

Luis Pato is one of the leading winemakers in the Beiras region of Portugal, where he has helped to modernize some winemaking practices as well as lift the quality of the region’s wines. Today he has 65 hectares of land that he uses to make wonderful red, white and sparkling wines.
