Description
Da Mhile (pronounced da-vee-lay) was established in 1992, when in collaboration with Springbank distillery they created the world’s first organic whisky. Two decades later they opened a distillery on our farm and have been making organic Welsh whisky ever since. Organic principles form the foundation of how we operate at Da Mhile distillery.
art-aged in a Peated Quarter Casks and first-fill Bourbon Casks; this whisky is lightly peated and allows the grain spirit’s natural sweetness and soft character to shine.
Nose: Sweet, floral and fruity.
Mouth: Initial sweetness quickly transforms into warm spice with oak and liquorice on the edge of the tongue.
Finish: Warm, smooth and comforting – salt and smoke ride you to the end.
