Italian family who arrived in Australia in the 1920’s and bought a mixed fruit farm and started to produce wine. Ripe fruits with a softness, touch of spice and a long finish.
Description
A combination of whole berries and whole bunches are used in open fermenters and traditional stainless vats. After 10-15 days of maceration and fermentation, the wine is pressed and matured for 8 months in 225L and 500L French oak casks. Vibrant red colour. Red and dark fruits on the nose, charred wood, spice and violets. Ripe fruits with a touch of sweet ripe strawberries and a fresh finish.
