Vincent Ogereau is one of the outstanding producers from this dynamic region of the Loire Valley, with a domaine of some 25 hectares. Originally established by his grand-father in the 1890s Vincent took over from his father in 1989 and has now been joined by his son Emmanuel. . For white wines Chenin Blanc is king here, matching perfectly with the clay-schist soils of the region, with Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon being used for the reds and rosé.

Description
From old Cabernet Franc vines , some of which were planted in the fifties. On the nose, red fruits, floral notes of jasmine, peony rose, spices and graphite characteristic of Cabernet Franc on schist soils. Structured palate, silky tannins and high acidity.
