This winery dates back to 1751 and has been family-owned ever since. The present Johann Topf took over the family winery from his father in 1990, who was one of the first winemakers in Strass to bottle his own wines. The estate has now grown to cover nearly 50 hectares around the village, luckily, his four sons are as passionate about the business and all work in the winery. The vineyards are in the Kamptal region just north of the Danube in Eastern Austria. The slopes have been specially selected for the different grape varieties.

Description
Also known as Pinot Blanc, this wine uses a specific dual-path method to ensure a great balance of fresh fruit and rich texture.
- 50% in stainless steel tanks: This preserves the fresh, primary fruit characteristics and mineral clarity.
- 50% in new 2,500L Manhartsberg oak barrels: This adds structure, depth, and creaminess.
A bouquet of ripe pears, candied orange zest, and blossom honey, with subtle herbal nuances and a hint of walnut. Full-bodied with flavours of white stone fruits and a fine mineral structure. The finish is fresh and lively, showing a subtle sweetness.
